Environment artist

Work Type: Full Time

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Environment artist with a good knowledge on Unity.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Creating, modifying and optimizing environment and 3D assets for our games from concept arts and/or moodboards
  • Optimize asset rendering performance for different platforms (Windows, Android, Playstation, etc...)
  • Configure the different assets created to integrate them into the game


  • Strong experience creating 3D and realistic environments with Unity
  • Experience with baked lighting techniques in Unity
  • Knowledge of the basics in terms of modeling and UV mapping
  • Very high attention to detail (VR and physic-based games means dealing with precise colliders, having a good vision of the proportions, etc)
  • Able to reproduce a specific art style
  • Experience working with Unity's Scriptable Render Pipeline (URP)
  • Self driven and autonomous
  • Good knowledge of version control tools (Git)
  • Used to work remotely and asynchronously using instant chat tools (Discord)
  • Passionate about video games and new technologies
  • Creative and able to propose new features and ideas
  • High-speed internet connection (ideally fiber)
  • Fluent in English

Added bonus (not required):

  • Knowledge of VR market and best practices
  • Skilled about creating new shaders and/or coding them (HLSL)
  • Experience creating visual effects
  • Drawing / concept art skills
  • Fluent in French
