Unity Graphics Engineer

Work Type: Contract

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Unity developer with a good knowledge on Unity graphic rendering and shaders.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Creating, modifying and optimizing our shaders
  • Improve rendering performance of our games on different platforms (Windows, Android, Playstation, etc...)
  • Collaborate with artists and developers to create and optimize new graphics related features


  • Strong 3D math skills and the understanding of 3D game engine design and various rendering techniques
  • Professional experience writing shaders using ShaderGraph and HLSL and setting up lighting in Unity 3D
  • Experience with optimizing on highly constrained platforms and getting the most out of them
  • Particular interest in one or several of the following areas: shader programming, mobile development, low-level optimization
  • Experience working with Unity's Scriptable Render Pipeline (URP)
  • Self driven and autonomous
  • Good knowledge of version control tools (Git)
  • Used to work remotely and asynchronously using instant chat tools (Discord)
  • Passionate about video games and new technologies
  • Creative and able to propose new features and ideas
  • High-speed internet connection (ideally fiber)
  • Fluent in English

Added bonus (not required):

  • Knowledge of VR market and best practices
  • Experience working with Unity C# Jobs system
  • Fluent in French

Additional information:

  • The job can be full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability
  • We are looking for a contractor first but it can evolve towards a full-time employment
  • 100% remote (Warpfrog being a fully-remote company)
